Three million pounds of concrete and steel, meticulously positioned on pilings anchored to the ocean floor—this level of precision engineering is nothing short of extraordinary. Last week, thanks to the incredible collaboration between Pacific Pile & Marine, Kiewit, Worley, Norda Stelo, and Trigon’s dedicated project team, we witnessed an engineering symphony in action.
As part of Trigon’s Berth Two Beyond Carbon (B2BC) project, we reached a major milestone: the installation of eight massive pre-cast concrete pile caps. Each cap weighs upwards of half a million pounds and will serve as the foundation for the future berth loading arms.
