Trigon is the largest terminal by volume at the Port of Prince Rupert, Canada’s third largest port. We operate a technologically advanced facility, with a skilled and competitively paid workforce of about 130. Trigon generates significant additional economic benefits – through purchase of goods and services and tax payments to all levels of government – extending well beyond our operations.
The separately owned Ridley Island Propane Export Terminal operates on land subleased from Trigon, which provides rail handling and other critical rail and vessel services to RIPET. Significant employment, procurement and tax-related economic benefits – in addition to Trigon’s contributions – are generated at the RIPET operation.
